Condo invasion

I don't want to see the open space at Buckroe Beach disappear. This is the last open space near a beach that is left in Hampton. This area should be made into a city park for all residents of the city to enjoy. Remember, once it's gone, it's gone forever.

The invasion of condos would wall off our beach and make it a private beach (see www.Hampton.gov and follow the links or ride down First Street). People might say that can't be true. In a perfect world that may not be true. However, the condo owners would have friends coming down from wherever who would simply park their autos in the public spaces (remember there are only 240 some spaces). Then upon the guests' arrival, the condo owners would move out their vehicles and their good buddies would pull into the spaces.

We would still be paying for the maintenance of the beach.
