saving the green space at
Buckroe Beach as a city park for our
"now and future generations."
Sign the petition and encourage your friends and family to sign the petition. Send your friends to this this website at www.buckroebeach.org, and don’t forget to sign the online Guest Book.
We have representatives from groups speaking on the green space topic at each Hampton City Council meeting. We will update the petition numbers at each meeting.
If you can attend council meetings, PLEASE DO! Your physical presence is a huge help at each meeting. To attend go to the Hampton City Council chambers on the 8th floor of City Hall. The meetings begin at 7:30 pm. If you wish to speak at a meeting you will have up to five minutes per person and must sign up to speak prior to the beginning of the meeting.
If you cannot attend, please watch each meeting on local cable channel 47. Meetings are held and shown on live television each 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month and are also televised Thursday through Sunday of those same weeks.
