Petitions were presented at the
City Council meeting on November 9, 2005.
See what we had to say.
At the December 14 City Council meeting the Green Space Ladies agreed to get together with the opposition and with a mediator after the holidays in an effort to collaborate and try to reach some common ground.  However, we will maintain focused on our mission and will continue to represent our more than 10,000 citizen supporters and our 60 plus business supporters.  Please continue to pass to word around to your family, friends, and neighbors to sign the petition.
November 14, the Planning Commission voted to recommend to City Council that the Buckroe Master Plan continue to be held in suspense until the conceptual land use plan for Fort Monroe is complete. That should occur sometime during the first quarter of 2006.  We are positively moving forward.  Stay tuned.
Special Thanks to all of the citizens for sending emails to our City Council and to the Planning Commission and for coming out to speak in an effort to help us at the November 14 Planning Commission meeting.
